Find the Best Nevada Bridal Shops in greater Las Vegas by Jennifer Whitman
If you are having a Las Vegas wedding, chances are that you picked that venue because you wanted everything to be just right. There is something about a Las Vegas wedding that is so romantic, so traditional that many brides and grooms choose that location as the ideal one for them to seal the deal for their nuptials. Las Vegas is the single most popular Nevada wedding destination, but for those of us who are not from Nevada, finding a bridal shop in Las Vegas, Nevada can be half the battle.
Call ahead. Many bridal salons only take in brides to be by prior arrangement, so call in advance to see if you are going to need an appointment to be seen. Depending on the reputation of the bridal salon that you are taking into consideration, you may or may not have to deal with setting up a time slot to be seen for your bridal needs.
Picking the perfect dress once you have found the bridal shop or bridal salon of your choice, you are halfway there. From there you have to choose what kind of wedding dress you want. Many women go for the traditional white wedding gown for their dress, and many others choose to go for brightly colored wedding gowns to go with the bright colors of Las Vegas. Either way, your bridal salon should have everything you need to choose the perfect wedding dress.
Decide before you shop. Deciding on the dress that you want or at least the type of dress style that you are searching for is the best place to begin when it comes to searching the bridal salons and bridal shops in Las Vegas for dresses. Not only does this save you time and money, but it also saves one more pre-wedding stress or dilemma that can be prevented.
What are you looking for? If you are looking for a traditional gown, you will probably be spending a lot more money than you would pay for a more casual dress. It might be beneficial to look at some examples online of what you want, and take them with you to the store so you can show the salesperson the type of style that you are wanting. This is usually a great idea if you are set on a specific idea or if you just want to save some money or time spent on picking dresses.
Working with dressmakers and shop owners is no different than any other wedding professional. Pick one that makes you feel comfortable and one that can provide specifically what you are looking for so you're don't get let down. There are numerous shops to choose from and seeing all of them will give you the assurance you need.
Accessories make the dress. The dress is not the only thing you have to think about wearing. Undergarments, a veil, jewelry, with shoes to match-all of these are things that you will have to pick out at a bridal salon, too so if you choose that you need these things as well, try to have some idea of what you need before you get there.
Don't put off shopping for your gown. You need to get a move on it immediately so you have ample time to see everything and not feel rushed.

Should I wear a bridal veil?
My wedding is very simple, casual, and for the most part; non-traditional. The family friend making my dress mentioned that she picked up material to make a veil and I realized, I haven't though about that aspect of my attire. I am thinking because everything so casual, maybe I shouldn't and stick with the theme...I definitely would not want to wear it over my face, so why wear something that I would not want to wear properly, right?! Any suggestions...I need pro and con input. Thanks!
No veil is perfectly fine. I had a very Formal Wedding and opted for no veil. I thought it looked terrible with my dress. It's also fine to wear a veil but not over your face. You could perhaps, depending on how you're wearing your hair, wear a veil that attaches to the back of your hair instead of on top. That would still keep your look casual, and simple. Something of this concept http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&categoryId=-49997485¤tIdx=3&subCategory=-49998498%7c-49997998%7c-49997485&catentryId=1000440 but with whatever length and detail you want on it. And of course not wearing it draped over your shoulders like the picture shows. Just letting it lay straight down. Very Cute and appropriate for your attire.
