To make your shoulders look wider, we play some visual tricks. Blouses with lapels are great...leaving the top 2 or 3 buttons open and spread the collar/lapels out. How do I explain what "vintage clothing style" is to my mom?
so right now, it's pretty obvious that vintage clothes are in style. and stores like forever 21 especially sell clothes that give that "vintage" look.
my mom asked me what i want for christmas, and i told her clothes that are vintage looking...and she had no clue what i was talking about.
i know vintage is straight leg jeans, cardigans, tunics, lacey things, heels...etc. but when i go to explain it to my mom, she still is at a loss.
how can i explain to my mom what vintage is? if i just told her that they consisted of the clothes i just listed, i just know that she would buy things that arent very...vintage aha.
or if anyone has any pictures of the style? that would be awesome.

tell her that its putting together stuff that was in a while back, like those kinds of things. maybe shell remember some stuff from when she was a kid because thats what vintage is.
