School uniforms in a public school?
Is that even possible?
I'm in middle school and would personally love to have uniforms, simply because I'm lazy and hate having to pick out cute clothes to wear every day ... it's such a pain. There are plenty of other reasons too, such as how it affects the "cliqueyness" of the girls in my school & the prejudice they have towards people that don't wear the trendy things..
I really want to tell someone about my idea, I already have quite a few people who agree with me... I was thinking of making a petition, but would that make a difference? I want to convince the school officials .. what could I do to go the extra mile and REALLY convince them?
Also, even under the unlikely circumstances that they did approve of my idea, what uniform would be appropriate? I wouldn't really like the whole jeans/khakis/polo shirt thing, I much prefer the cute classic skirt & collared shirt... but hmm.

i think it's not that bad an idea, i go to a catholic high school and of course we have uniforms. my elementary school (kindergarten to grade 
was catholic too and didn't have uniforms and there was A LOT of cliqueyness and i hated it! but then i went to high school and got the uniform, the cliques seem to vanish, like you can just walk to someone and start talking to them. also it stops the judging by what you wear. and it is SO much easier to get ready in the morning, takes me like 2 minutes, just need to decide between pants or kilt.
and if it helps, some of my best friends go to a public school and they want uniforms too, they just don't want religion
