I am an aspiring fashion designer and right now I am focusing on learning how to make patterns. As of now, I only know how to drape patterns on a dress form, and how to draft a straight skirt and a circle skirt. However, I don't know how to make patterns based on a person's specific measurements, or how to properly fit a garment for a specific person. I also don't really know how to do a proper fitting. Can anyone tell me, in a nutshell, how I can do all this, or can someone tell me where I can find more information on this?
