Don't try to sew it with a sewing machine! You can ruin your hat. Instead, sew by hand using a thin needle, a thick one may leave holes in your hat. Find a thread that matches the hat, so the stitches will be invisible.
If you and needles don't get along very well, try to glue the hat's lining back. You need double-sided bonding tape, that doesn't require ironing. Wal-Mart sells INSTANT REPAIR KITS, that includes such tape.
They also sell glue for fabrics, but I would not recommend using it. The glue may stain your hat, make it stiff, or even melt it, leaving a hole.
