My daughter is almost 6 months old, but quite small for her age...I have one of those nifty cart covers, but I'm wondering if she's still too young/small...
She is an independent sitter.
If she can sit unassisted then she is fine to go in the shopping cart seat. I started putting my daughter in the shopping cart seat 2 weeks ago, so at 6.5 months (she'll be 7 months on Monday) and she LOVED it. She kept trying to show off to others like "look at me, I am such a big girl" and it totally has made shopping so much easier!
