Horse Bit Warmer Instructions/Pattern?
I am looking for a Horse bit warmer pattern or instructions on how to make the home made bit warmers that you sew into squares, use velcro to close it around the bit, fill with rice, corn or flax seed, and pop in the microwave for a minute to get it warm. Does anyone have instructions or a pattern they can help me with? Many Thanks...

Google "Sewing" and "Potholder" to see if you can find a pattern you like that way. Also make sure you don't overheat your bit warmer once you make it, and don't add herbs or scents to it-- some can irritate your horse's mouth.
Since you are putting it on the bit, I'd probably be tempted to make a 'slip cover' for over the main bit warmer, so that you can more easily clean it.
This is a really cool idea-- I'd never thought about making a bit warmer like that!
