How to repair/stop further running of hole in cotton knit shirt?
My cat dug his claws into my favorite shirt. I'm so mad at that cat!
Is there a way to either A) repair the hole, or B) stop the hole from getting larger and more noticeable (kinda like you put nail polish on nylons to stop a run)?
Keep in mind I have limited sewing skills. Please explain as simply as possible!

Go to a sewing place and buy those iron on patches, be sure an get a matching color and iron it over the hole on the inside where it will not show.
