A London Visit To Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum by Lee Dobbins

Why did Marie Antoinette called her eldest daughter Mousseline?
I know that her eldest daughter was Marie Therese Charlotte of France, later known as Madame Royale. I just recently finished a book about Marie Antoinette's life and I thought it was so lovely to discover the true side of "the bad queen." I was curious to know, however, if there was a particular reason why Marie Antoinette called her daughter Mousseline? I suppose mousseline is a type of fabric, but I don't really understand. Explanations are appreciated. Thanks.
It was just a nickname, I think.
The baby was named after the Queen's mother, the Austrian Empress, and given the official title Madame Royale. Her family nicknamed her Mousseline (Muslin), for her pretty, blonde appearance.
