Knowing The IAS, NDA And UGC NET Exam 2012 Dates And Syllabus Helps Student Prepare From Earliest by Sanjay Joshi
For any entrance exam the students appear, the toughest phase is during the time when the dates are declared. Smart are those who keep in mind the probable dates from different sources or from the previous year’s patterns. This gives them a rough idea as to the time when the next exams are to be probably conducted.
Keeping this in mind, students can prepare themselves for the upcoming exams and by the time the announcements start pouring in, they can fill up the forms and intensify their preparations. Some exams like the IAS exam, are quite tough and need a lot of preparations. One thing that knowledge of the probable dates helps in is the allocation of time for preparing for the exams. According to the probable dates, students can go for the coaching of the subjects that they are weak in and refurbish the subjects by the time the dates are to be announced.
The IAS exam 2012 is probably held in the month of June every year for which the date of announcement is usually in the month of February. If this is known to the students, then they can go for the preparations accordingly. Particularly for the civil services exams the preparations are to be quite extensive and a lot of time is required to know the details of the questions. The exam is conducted to test a vast knowledge of the candidates. By knowing the probably dates of the upcoming entrance, the preparation is streamlined and the success chances are increased.
Similarly for the NDA 2012 preparations have to be well timed to secure a successful ranking. With not a lot of seats for the taking, it is quite a competitive test. Entry into the national defense academy is a privilege for the students. So there is obviously a big amount of competition for the students. Those who are interested sincerely would look up for the test dates from a very early period. Since the exams are declared a few months before the exam date, it is important to be prepared early. The time span that is there within the declaration of dates and the date of exam is not a lot.
One cannot think of starting preparations only after the NDA 2012 are declared. For the UGC NET exam 2012 also, preparations are to be started much before the exam dates. These are exams which are of national importance and have been conducted since a very long time in the country. Students should therefore be aware of these exams if they are interested. They can get information of the probable dates from the internet or from the coaching Centres that they have joined.
Even the question patterns are also available along with the previous years questions which can give a fair idea as to the course of their preparations. Those who are sincerely thinking of making it a successful attempt should incorporate these activities as part of their success. All preparations and sitting down quietly doesn’t solve the purpose. One has to be proactive in these matters or else the whole idea of appearing in the exams is a waste if one misses out on the dates.

what happens if i miss Civil air patrol encampment? (CAP)?
hey, well okay this year the Ohio Civil air patrol encampment is june 11-19th 2011 and i am pretty sure i will be in maine then. so what do i do? is there like a "make up" encampment or am i just screwed? and can someone give me a pretty detailed guide on how to survive encampment?
Encampment isn't mandatory in CAP unless you are trying to get to 2nd Lt.
You can simply go to the encampment planned for next year.
As for surviving encampment, it is pretty easy, just do what they tell you and everything will work out fine. Nobody has ever died going through it unlike in some other cadet programs (at least one cadet died in the USNSCC's boot camp a few years ago).
