What is a good, affectionate, loving, cuddly, small pet?
I'm looking for something like a sugar glider, guinea pig, chinchilla, etc.
I read up on sugar gliders and I noticed that their sleeping patterns, semi-solitary attitude wouldn't fit this description.
I love to cuddle and show my pets lots of love.. Hehe. (: so I want to make sure I get something that will react to that well. not looking for a dog or a cat. I'm looking for something that bonds as well.

Sugar gliders rock and are not at all solitary animals (in fact, they're COLONY creatures, which is why you MUST get two if you get one) but their sleeping patterns (sleep all day, play at night) can be difficult for some people. The thing about sugar gliders is though, that while they LOVE being around their owner once they've bonded, when they're awake, they want to play and don't really care for being held. But, when they're not bonded, WATCH OUT. They'll bite HARD (I've had a few draw blood before they've bonded), and they will act like they HATE you. I would go with a cat, if I were you. I know you said that's not what you were looking for, but my cats have all bonded REALLY well to me. In fact, I have one that follows me from room to room and always wants to be near me. Or a stuffed animal.
