I have a bright red couch. How can I decorate my living room around this?
We have a bright red couch that I absolutely love but I'm finding it hard to decorate our living room in a mature way around this piece. My husband and I are 20 years old and I don't want our apartment to look like a frat house any more lol. I want it to be cozy, organized, and feel like home.
What colors would go well with red? I need ideas for rugs, patterns, or even wall colors. What stores have cheap decorating or organizational items?
I would use lots of neutral colors, light brown, ivory and then add splashes of red in the room. such as a couple of red glass vases. a large picture/painting with hints of red. and the same with some throw pillows, just a hint of red. just using it as an accent color to match.
