sewing machine help.........?
my sewing machine is sewing top stitches loose and the bob-in is coming undone because of the loose top stitches.
if anyone know whats wrong and what i can do to correct this i would greatly appreciate it!
A couple of things could be wrong.
First, remove the thread completely from the machine. Make sure the presser foot is UP. Now, rethread the machine. Make sure the thread is seated in the tension area (check your manual). Also, make sure the thread is going through the takeup lever (again, refer to your manual).
Don't mess around with the bobbin tension; it's easy to mess up the bobbin case.
If you're still having problems, bring it in to your dealer and have them check to see if they can spot any obvious problem.
