I cannot believe that this was published. I write poetry as well and the sexual connotations of 'deep throat' are just unbelievable. Also, the metaphors don't work - what is 'crusted desire like a rainbow in season'? A rainbow doesn't have a season. And why the 'crust'?
Alliteration is basic and meaningless - skimpy skirt (sk, sk) - point of this? - and language is imprecise - a skirt doesn't wrap itself around just one leg.
The only good metaphor was 'moon-stripped bride'.
