I need a super thick&tight knitting stitch?
So Im designing my own slipper pattern, they're going to be a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. Now this particular stitch is for the bottom of the slippers, it doesn't have to be pretty, Im putting leather on the bottom of the slipper, and fleece on the inside. It just needs to be tough and guy proof 
I should also mention Im probably an intermediate knitter.
How will his feet feel, walking on something "tough"? Leather is "guy proof"
