retro men's suit patterns? any were?
i can't find dress shirts that fit right... arm lenth problems... so... i figured i would use my lousy tailoring ability, and make my own suits, however, i can only find womens patterns, or mens vest/pajama's
my question is this! does anyone know were i can get sewing patters for mens suits, preferably from teh 70's or 50's
however i would perfer new patterns.

Because of the differing techniques of tailoring men's and women's clothes, men's patterns are nearly non-existant.
If you want to get into this, I'd strongly suggest you pick up a copy of Cabrera and Meyers' http://www.betterworldbooks.com/classic-tailoring-techniques-id-0870054317.aspx (look for a used copy or borrow from the library)
And check Landsend for odd sleeve length shirts... unless you want to make Your Own, and then I'd suggest KwikSew 2777 pr 3863 or a Burda pattern.
