Question about knitting pattern?
Ive nearly finished my first ever toddlers jumper and im up to shaping the neck and im stuck.
It says Nxt row - patt 18 (20,23,26,29,31) sts turn . Its just this bit i dont understand, can anyone help please?
I'd like to see more of the instructions, such as the following line, but as near as I can tell they are telling you to knit X stitches continuing the pattern you've already been doing (say stockinette or moss stitch or something) and then stop part way across the row, turn and go back. Either they are setting up some short row shaping or this is how they are dividing the two shoulders at the neck. Most likely the latter.
