if i get a "scene" hair cut, where should my first top short layer start?
im gettin a "scene" hair cut in two days and everyone is telling me to tell the hairdresser that i want short layers on top and long layers on bottom. where should my first layer start?
good pics and tips are appreciated:)
Well the scene do's are a couple years old, but my opinion doesn't matter haha whatever you like 
The shortest layer should be no longer than 4 inches! Else the teasing part with be difficult and could pose many tangles!!
The longest (other than the bottom hair of course!) should be no longer than chin length
You can color the bottom (longest) a blonde (idk what your hair color is..) or black I'd you're blonde! Make sure to get the side swept bangs not too short though!
What worked for me when it came to teasing was applying a putty or wax that was thick and then teasing! As contrary as it seems don't apply too much hair spray or else you tease will be weighed down and defeat the whole purpose of the tease!
