What clothes is my wardrobe missing?!?
I never seem to have something in my wardrobe for a night out that I can just throw on. When I try to put an outfit together for a night out it doesn't seem to work! People always say i've got a good style but I never feel like i'm on top of fashion! There's so much to buy to complete one look! I've got a lot of old rubbish in my wardrobe that I threw out today.
I don't really like my skinny little legs so so tend to wear a lot of boots and dresses to cover them up. Can anyone give me some tips of how to bulk out my wardrobe with "fool proof essentials" as my friend put it?! What's your outfit you always put on when all else fails and what should I be buying now to be on top of fashion? I'm a size 8 / 10 and 5ft 5" and can't wear mega high heels or it makes my skinny legs even skinnier!
Any advice from fashion guru's out there would be much appreciated!
I recently outed my wardrobe and felt as if i had nothing to wear. I kept all my plain t-shirts and long sleeved tops, my good jeans and shoes. I know what you mean about having skinny legs. When I want to look good without wearing a dress I choose one statement piece of clothing and dress myself around it. Like shoes, and I have a great pair of shiny wet-look skinny jeans, perfect for going out in. The first thing you need is a varied collection of statement jewelry. Jewelry can change an outfit completely. I have a huge collection and it works wonders. Secondly loads of different colored cardigans, and a black, and a grey one (I love my grey cardigan). I find that H&M cardigans are cut the nicest and last. Lastly, you need a little collection of dresses, and tops/long tops. remember jewelry can dress it up. Ankle boots and blazers are a must. there you go, mix and match. The sales are on. Try out:
